Educational Programmes
Functional Skills
It is widely recognised that basic Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills are central to the prosperity and welfare of individuals and society. Functional Skills are the essential skills needed for ENGLISH, MATHS and ICT, vital for young people and adults to participate in life, learning and work. Functional Skills are an essential, compulsory element in two main qualification routes for young people from 14 to 24; in apprenticeships and the Foundation Learning Tier, as well as being stand-alone qualifications in their own right.

BTEC Work Skills
The BTEC Certificate in Work Skills (Level 2) introduces learners through practical exercises to topics such as: Managing your own money, Searching for a Job, Applying for a Job, Preparing for an Interview, Interview Skills, Working in a Team, Preparing for Work Placement, and Learning from Work Placement

Our Approach
Our tutors have been involved in delivering these and similar courses to a variety of groups, and have delivered other programmes such as ALAN (Adult Literacy and Numeracy), Key Skills, ASDAN CoPE (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network Certificate of Personal Effectiveness) and CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology).

Our focus is always on learners succeeding through the careful structuring of material and delivered in innovative ways in supported and relaxed environments. Learners can then enjoy their success step by step, gaining confidence and self esteem as they progress.
