Welcome to Angling-School
We are passionate about learning and love to share our knowledge and skills with others so that they can enjoy a wide range of educational, recreational and environmental activities which promote healthy life styles, social inclusion and community cohesion for a variety of ages.
What we offer
We teach angling skills in systematic and structured ways to enable clients to gain knowledge, confidence and self-esteem. Angling-School recognises and rewards progress through award schemes and accredited programmes with Children’s University, Sports Leaders and Dreamstore’s Coaching Academies. As part of our research programme, we record rays and sharks, along with organising eggcase hunts for the Shark Trust.
Our “From Hooked to Cooked” programme was developed to show people how to prepare and cook the fish they catch as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Using our experiences as special needs teachers, we offer tuition and courses in numeracy and literacy (for children, young people and adults) and ITC skills as well as BTEC Work Skills to help young people and adults into employment.
In 2013 we became a First Aid Training Provider delivering a range of courses using instructors with a wealth of experience as they come from volunteering backgrounds with the Ambulance and Coastguard Services.
